Our Y13 students are fully supported by members of the Sixth Form team with their next steps. University applications via UCAS can seem daunting, but our fully qualified independent careers adviser, along with dedicated Assistant Head of Sixth Form are committed to making sure students achieve their potential.  100% of our students in 2021-2022 achieved a place at their chosen University and/or Higher Level Apprenticeship.  We are proud to say that this is because of their hard work and support they received at St Augustine’s.

In keeping with our commitment to provide students with outstanding careers guidance and tailored support, we use Unifrog, which is an online platform that provides access to all post 18 destinations.  It is a single, impartial, user friendly platform allowing students to make the best choices and submit strong applications. 

Unifrog brings into one place every university, college and online course both in the UK and overseas, together with apprenticeships in the UK. This facilitates students being able to compare and decide upon their next steps.  Additionally the platform supports students when writing their personal statement, applications and CVs by guiding them through the process and allowing teachers to give live feedback.
