Sixth Form students are given the opportunity to apply to become an 'Officer' when they reach Year 13. This is a fantastic way for them to take responsibility by taking part in a collaborative team, gaining key leadership skills, and making changes around school, in areas that they feel passionate about. The head students lead and collaborate with the officers in their duties. They are also representatives of the student body as role models. Every officer is a specialist in their particular field, but most of the time they work in collaboration with each other. They meet with the Assistant Head of Sixth Form weekly to discuss events/projects they are leading (charity fund raisers, awareness campaigns etc) and ideas on how to improve school life.
