At Saint Augustine’s we commit ourselves to Catholic education and the development of the whole person as a unique person made imago Dei. Our Saint Augustine's Pupil Profile values are underpinned by the teachings of Jesus Christ and inspired by the Gospel Values. We are a Catholic school for all and believe that by nurturing a deeper appreciation of the Pupil Profile in each student, they will go on to be caring, responsible and well-rounded adults who can make a positive impact in the world.
Each half term we focus on a key Church teaching of the Catholic Church through Catholic Social Teaching and the Saint Augustine's Pupil Profile. These are included in the themes used in Celebration of The Word, assemblies and Collective Worship as well as activities during form time and making links in our subject lessons. We hope that by reflecting on these teachings, then students will appreciate that at Saint Augustine’s we believe each child is willed, loved and has purpose, irrespective of ability or background.
