Today is the feast of St. Jude. He is the Patron Saint of Hope and impossible causes, and one of Jesus’ twelve Apostles. He preached the Gospel with great passion, often in the most difficult circumstances. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, he made profound differences in people's lives as he offered them the Word of God.

🇫🇷 France Day 4 🇫🇷
Sadly, we’re now making our way to Calais to catch the Eurotunnel back to the UK.
Students were brilliant at getting packed and rooms sorted and we departed bang on time!
This was after we had a special birthday treat for Miki, who celebrates his 15th birthday today! Massive thanks to PGL for making a birthday cake for us to enjoy! 🎂
We will update you with an ETA when we arrive back in the UK!

🇫🇷 France Day 3 🇫🇷
What a dream day at Disneyland Paris!
We started the day with blockbuster action at Walt Disney Studios Park, getting totally immersed in the worlds of Pixar and Marvel! Then it was a quick trip over to Disney Village for a much-needed refuel, before we headed for the main event: Disneyland!
Riding the classics and exploring those iconic lands was just the beginning. We stayed late and the spectacular fireworks show lighting up the sky over Sleeping Beauty’s Castle was the perfect grand finale!
Everyone is looking forward to getting to bed!

🇫🇷 France Day 2 🇫🇷
What an incredible day for our students in the City of Light! 🤩
We kicked off our Parisian adventure with a visit to the iconic Eiffel Tower, followed by a relaxing cruise on the Bateaux Parisiens to see the city from the Seine. Next up, we marvelled at the modern architecture of the Louvre Pyramids and paid our respects to the beautiful, enduring Notre Dame Cathedral. Our students then enjoyed some fantastic free time exploring the vibrant Latin Quarter, soaking up the unique atmosphere and grabbing crêpes, gelato and berets! We even got to witness a joyful protest of people singing and dancing, demonstrating for housing support for the homeless - Catholic Social Teaching everywhere we go! #HungerforJustice
After a delicious dinner back at Château de Grande Romaine, the fun continued with the difficult choice of evening activities! It was a night of tough decisions between:
• 🎧 The electric energy of a Silent Disco
• 🎬 A chill Film Night
• 🥞 Getting hands-on at the Crêpe Workshop
• 🧠 Testing their knowledge with a fun Quiz
Tired but happy, everyone made the most of their evening. What a memorable day!

🇫🇷 France Day 1 🇫🇷
After a long journey, we made it to Château de Grande Romaine. After our tour, we had a traditional Friday tea of fish and chips (or vegetarian lasagne for non-fish eaters!)
Students then had a choice of evening activities… sport, campfire, crêpe making or movie night!
Students are now getting ready for bed before an early start for a full day in Paris tomorrow!!!

We’re really excited to be able to offer our first apprenticeship courses to staff at Saint Augustine’s
Mrs McGoldrick, HR Administrator, and Miss Bunegar, Receptionist, have started their apprenticeships in L4 School Business Management and L3 Business Administration today!
We wish them well in their studies and pray that St John Bosco, Patron Saint of Apprentices, will guide and support them.
